It's very simple.
I wash my hair twice a week with Ayurvedic Powders, and once a month, I use a Green Tea clarifying shampoo by Aubrey Organics.

These are the main powders that I have used. After I have finished my supply, I will be switching to just using Kalpi Tone as it contains a perfect blend of all the powders in one box
How I use Ayurvedic Powders
At first, I used them as a paste, but I had real problems getting the residue out of my hair and it caused some breakage, so I have chosen to strain the powder mixtures.

Step 1: Add boiling water to powder
Step 2: Mix and allow the mixture to sit for one hour
Step 3: Strain mixture through a stocking cap
Step 4: Rinse pre-oiled hair for about 5 minutes and pour mixture all over hair, concentrating on hair ends.
Step 5: Gently squeeze the hair to get rid of excess mixture, apply shower cap and leave on hair for one hour.
Step 6: Rinse hair, condition with any conditioner, then deep condition.
MOISTURISING
Twice a day with ORS Carrot Oil or Natural Unrefined Shea Butter. I then use Vatika Oil to seal the moisturiser. I especially concentrate 0n my ends.
CONDITIONING
I've read on hair forums that it's best to condition in sections/pliats and detangle while the hair is loaded with conditioner or wet. I have tried this and as I'm transitioning, this only causes breakage at the demarcation line. The hair is at it's weakest when it is wet!
I literally slather on any old conditioner all over the hair, concentrating on the ends and rinse it out immediately.
DEEP CONDITIONING
I usually do this (after every Ayurvedic wash) with a conditioning cap on for anything between an hour and a half to two hours.
I alternate between ORS Mayonnaise + 1 egg and a cheapie Coconut amd Almond conditioner mixed with Peppermint and Rosemary Oil.
BAGGYING
I do this every night with a shower cap, then roll the ends of the cap over the rim of my bonnet. It keeps my hair moisturised.
VITAMINS
I have been taking vitamins since 25th March 2008, gradually adding vitamins as I go along.
Vitamin B Complex with Folic Acid (1 a day) since 25th March
Flaxseed 1000 mg (2 a day) since 7th April
MSM 1000 mg (2 a day) since 7th April
A, C and D Multi Vitamin (1 a day) since 23rd April
Silica (Organic) (2 a day) since 23rd April
