Since I will only be straightening my hair every three months, I decided to compare braid outs from the 31st of March to the 6th of June. I could not believe it.
My hair has thickened up considerably and grown... Yay Ayurveda!
woo child! That is some good growth and thickness in 9 weeks. Congrats!!! May I ask, what is your ayurvedic mix,a s in what powders and what ration do you use?
Thankyou! To be honest, I don't do a lot of measuring. It's hard to say how much I use of each powder (because I do it by eye... thats how I cook as well LOL), but I'll try and estimate. I may use on average one heaped tablespoon of Aritha powder one tablespoon of Shikakai powder and three tablspoons of Amla. Sometimes I substitute Amla for Maka or Aritha for Neem, etc. Most of the time I just use Kalpi Tone... enough to drench my hair with (roughly 6 tablespoons). I guess it depends how long your hair is. Hope this helps!
